Our mission
Umicore generates the majority of its revenues and dedicates most of its R&D efforts to clean technologies, such as emission control catalysts, materials for rechargeable batteries and recycling.

Our vision
Innovation: Umicore's R&D efforts involve more than 900 colleagues in 20 research and technical centres worldwide, focusing on key global challenges like clean mobility and resource scarcity. Each year Umicore invests some €150 million in these initiatives.
