High-Temperature Ceramics

Kyocera DEGUSSIT pure aluminas are used, for example, in the glass industry, in the manufacture of high-temperature industrial furnaces, in analysis or in research and development work. These applications require high dimensional stability and excellent chemical inertness to resist creep and corrosion at high temperatures.

Thanks to their unique manufacturing process, DEGUSSIT aluminas offer truly the best performance compared to other sintered aluminas DIN C799 on the market. The only alumina that can surpass the dimensional stability of DEGUSSIT AL23 is DEGUSSIT AL24. It is above 1500 °C that Kyocera DEGUSSIT AL23 and DEGUSSIT AL24 alumina really show their exceptional qualities.
